Welcome to the homepage of the Western Maryland Grotto! For the last 39 years our members have been exploring, documenting, and surveying caves in the great states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Our goals are to find and document new caves in the region, preserve the already known caves, and teach the next generation of cavers how to cave responsibly and safely.
